At my current position at Savage X Fenty I am on the Women’s Intimates team working as a CAD Designer. I am given hand sketches from other members of the design team, from which I develop CADs. Using my expertise in bra construction, I can interpret loose drawings into technical CADs that can be sent out to vendors for sampling. I am well versed in creating and updating tech packs and BOMs for bras, including accounting for differences between missy and curvy sizes. I manage 20-30 new bra developments per season.
I personally love being inspired by vintage bras and always keeping a fresh perspective on the many ways a bra can take form.
While working at Carrie Amber, I focused heavily on bra design development across multiple brands.
For Paris Blue there was a focus on soft and wire free bras with touches of push-up in a soft palette that appealed to the junior/college age customer. I developed cute prints, branded elastics, and a custom Eiffel Tower charm.
Carrie Amber was the core collection that focused on functional basics. I sourced bold laces, rhinestone gore trims, and focused on rich lipstick shades to help this more every-day comfort focused line feel special.
I spent some time during 2020 & 2021 working freelance, focusing on intimates whenever I could! Below are a few of my clients that I assisted with design development, CADs, and line sheets.
